It allows you to perform different types of analysis, such as stress and deformation analysis, as well as thermal or dynamic simulations.

Because the simulation remains linked to the model, changes are automatically accounted for. This makes it easier to compare variants and implement iterations.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ make_equal=”on” _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”||||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]

How does that work in practice?

Basically, it comes down to preparing a model for analysis by adding material, loads and boundary conditions. In some cases it involves a quick check, in other situations a more extensive analysis.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”||||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]

See what this looks like in IronCAD

The video below shows how a simulation is set up and analyzed within IronCAD.
