Yes, IronCAD is installed locally on the PC and can be used completely offline. Files are stored securely on your computer or on your own network. Although Cloud storage is possible, a slower Internet connection may affect performance. Therefore, we recommend storing files locally or on the network at speeds lower than 500/500 Mbit. If you still want to work in the Cloud, you can use a synchronization tool such as Microsoft OneDrive or Google One.

One Home or Mobile License can be requested per IronCAD license. The prerequisite is that the license is associated with a valid support contract. The instructions for requesting the Home or Mobile License can be found in Chapter 4 of the documentation (page 16).

The Armor Advantage contract provides both technical and drawing support. You receive the latest updates and upgrades to IronCAD and access to an additional home working license. This contract ensures that you are always working with the most up-to-date software and have immediate support if you have questions or problems.

An educational license (student license) for IronCAD is valid for one year. After expiration, the license can be reapplied as long as you are still enrolled at an educational institution.
