Thomas Bos Interieurbouw is a skilled interior builder and is characterized by being close to the people, working with personal attention. Several years ago they started drawing in IronCAD, after which they took several steps including Para-Flex to further automate the production process. Planner Stefan tells us why it is impossible to imagine Thomas Bos Interieurbouw without the software.
Good cooperation for a perfect end result
Founded in 2005, the company began initially as an interior fitting business. After which it developed over the years with its own production. The team has since grown to 8 employees, 2 interns and a number of freelancers. According to them, the reason for success is due to the well-cooperating team, which thinks along with the customer and takes care of them. They stand behind the product as a team. “It doesn’t go out the door here without making sure it’s all perfect,” Stefan.
Choosing an all-in-one solution
IronCAD is used here for literally everything from simple panels to complete interiors. Before IronCAD, the company did not have a drawing package, but the conversion was fairly simple. “It’s easy to pick up,” Stefan said.
Because everything is in one program, you make fewer mistakes.
“The choice at the time was IronCAD because it is so comprehensive. We use the software for presentation to the customer, controlling machines, CNC programs and generating cutting and purchasing lists. With the 3D design, the customer immediately has a good idea of what to expect. Because everything is in one program, you make fewer mistakes. You don’t have to enter everything yourself in different programs,” Stefan.
Nothing is too crazy
What is one advantage of IronCAD? Stefan indicates: “The convenient thing is that you are very free with drawing. Nothing is too crazy. You are constructing things yourself with IronCAD, in contrast to other packages where you are not drawing, but rather have to use formulas and fill in values. Drawing in IronCAD is simple ánd it provides the necessary information for controlling the machines etc. correctly.”
Error-free production with Para-Flex
At Thomas Bos Interieurbouw, Para-Flex Pro & CAM is in use. Stefan: “It soon started running well. We have a BHX(HOMAG CNC machine) here. Implementing this with Para-Flex CAM was very easy. This allowed us to run production and fine-tune right away, which went almost flawlessly.”
Producing from the drawing
“In the workshop it goes a lot faster. In the office we do spend a little longer, since we have to make sure that everything is right down to the smallest details.
Everything we draw is also made exactly that way.
So actually we are already producing in the 3D drawing,” Stefan.
Error rate of almost 0%
“Saw lists are generated by the software, so we don’t have to do this manually. This also reduces the error rate to almost 0%. When we encounter errors, 99% of the time it is already in the drawing phase. Even this is becoming less and less, because we draw everything from the catalog,” Stefan.
Short lines
Stefan: “Support and service from Dynfos is very good. The short lines of communication make it easy to communicate with each other. If we run into something, they look at it directly. As a result, questions or problems are solved and answered immediately.
