Harmeling Interiors

Work planners at Harmeling point to an IronCAD design on their computer screen.

Truthers of interiors

This all-round interior builder is rock solid in custom interiors for unique as well as serial projects. And they strive to put sustainability first. Since its establishment in 1962, Harmeling Interieurs has gained a prominent place in the interior construction industry. Today, IronCAD is used for all projects at Harmeling. Including retail, private, office interior design, education and more.

The success of Harmeling Interiors

Harmeling: “For years, both local parties and (inter)national A-brands have trusted Harmeling’s interiors. They choose us because we continue where others stop. Because with over 130 colleagues we have a lot of clout, but because of our down-to-earth and personal way of communicating we also feel small. And because our work can be recognized by its traditional quality – always”. Maikel (Head of Work Preparation) tells us more about how IronCAD contributes to this success within this company.

Switching from 2D to 3D drawing package

“Our previous drawing program was a 2D package. At the time, Harmeling wanted to move to a 3D package. We visited several software companies and made a choice based on a selection round. With a strong presentation, Dynfos showed us what is possible with IronCAD,” says Maikel. Since then, all of Harmeling Interiors’ projects have been created in IronCAD.

Easily make adjustments

IronCAD’s stretch function is a real invention, according to Maikel. “You can adjust a piece of furniture nice and easy. We also make a lot of use of our own library in IronCAD.” Parts such as furniture can be dragged into the scene from a library, then easily customized with the stretch function.

CNC control as desired

They also chose the extension Para-Flex at Harmeling Interieurs to further automate the production process. A good match with their HOMAG CNC machines. “The software had to be tailored to our own needs and we succeeded,” Maikel.

“The control to the CNC works perfectly!”

Fewer errors, faster process

Para-Flex automates work preparation, thus contributing to the efficiency of the work process. “A big advantage is that CNC programs are created in no time. No more forgetting material on the saw sheets either. The fewer errors, the faster the process,” Maikel explains.

support & service

How do you like the support and service? There was a short but powerful answer to that: “Perfect.”
