Clean2Anywhere

Clean2Anywhere builds modular with IronCAD 3D software and is committed to a sustainable and better world.

A foundation with a remarkable mission. Change is hard, we hear it so often, especially when trying to change our collective habitual behavior in order to move toward sustainable futures. And there is no manual for it, so how? Well experiment a lot I would say and just discover it! That’s why we are going to do something crazy! We are building a 17th century flute ship entirely out of waste plastic. Simply because it can’t be done. Waste plastic is not strong enough. And that’s exactly why we’re going to do it. And everyone who wants to build with us is welcome. So sustainable and inclusive.

Mission impossible

Mission impossible, well earlier we drove in a car printed in the core from waste plastic powered by solar energy towards geographic South Pole, Clean2Antarctica. And that has been breaking news in 7 countries! And now we are starting small again. With the construction of the flute ship’s dinghies. To learn the shipbuilding trade, to discover what can be done with waste plastic and to make media noise. And then we build bigger and bigger. This is how we create a fleet of unique ships. Not to sell but to inspire others. That’s why we start a shipping company. The world’s first circular, sustainable and inclusive shipping company, for fair trade.

Clean2Anywhere

The first shipments for the flute ship have already been offered to us while we do not yet know if we can build the ship. We call that the pleasure of inconvenience! This is how we seek the clean route, because if you keep doing what you always did you will get what you always got.

modular homes made of waste plastic, wood and waste textiles

Through all our experiments, we make the most diverse discoveries and we share them with others. Open innovations that can lead to great spin-offs. But sometimes it takes a lot of guts to bring such a spin-off to life and then we like to work on it ourselves. Simply because we are not afraid to fail.

Ecological and social contribution

That’s how we came to build modular homes out of waste plastic, wood and waste textiles. In a factory with a special team. The production staff consists of people distant from the labor market. Many with no construction knowledge, with great personal challenges and a life on welfare. ‘Come and work with us,’ is our motto and we will discover where your hidden employment potential lies. And that has gotten out of hand. Look at what beautiful homes they are building. Homes that are so desperately needed! Homes with meaning because of their ecological and social contribution.

Simple construction process

How we do that? Well make the building process so simple that it becomes similar to playing with Lego. That requires quite a bit of design and engineering. At first, as a charitable foundation, we did that “old school” with pen and paper. But it soon became clear that we needed to move to a CAD system, but which one?

One of the major forces behind the modular homes is Rein ter Velde, who did know what system to use for it. From his education he had experience with IronCAD. And so it came about that we now have our entire construction process of the homes recorded in the package. For us it is unthinkable to organize it in any other way and we are super happy with how it works.

SAmenwerking with Dynfos

But it doesn’t stop here. We have set the bar high and also want to fully capture and manage the construction of our ships from IronCAD. A challenging task in which we still have a lot to discover. And this is where we discover the organization behind IronCAD. Inspired by our mission, they think along unasked how we can approach and realize this together. All stops are pulled out to make it succeed. A good package is one thing, but to use it effectively, good support is key. And Dynfos provides that. And we quietly have the idea that they find it wonderful and meaningful to participate in our social challenge.
