Thomas Bos Interieurbouw realizes high-quality custom interiors with great attention to quality, finish and personal contact. What began as interior assembly grew into a complete interior builder with its own production, where cooperation and craftsmanship are key.

In order to better integrate design, work preparation and production, Thomas Bos Interieurbouw works entirely in IronCAD. In combination with Para-Flex, production data are automatically generated, creating one central workflow from design to execution.

Thomas Bos Interieurbouw began in 2005 as an interior assembly company and evolved into its own production environment. According to work planner Stefan, the company’s strength lies in the well-cooperating team that takes care of customers completely and is not satisfied until everything is perfectly right.

The challenge

Thomas Bos Interieurbouw was looking for a way to work more efficiently without losing flexibility in customization. It was important that designs could be easily modified, while production processes needed to be more accurate and consistent.

In addition, the team wanted to get rid of separate systems and manually transferring information between different programs.

Within Thomas Bos Interieurbouw, IronCAD is used for almost the entire process: from customer presentation to production. Thanks to the intuitive drawing process, the transition was easy and the team was able to work efficiently quickly.

Para-Flex Pro & CAM was also quickly integrated with the HOMAG BHX machine. This allowed production to be started up almost immediately and further optimized.

Producing from the drawing

At Thomas Bos Interieurbouw, production begins during design. Everything drawn in IronCAD must be able to be produced correctly immediately.

This shifts more attention to preparation, but actually creates more calm and overview in the workshop.

“So actually we are already producing in the 3D drawing.”

Because production data is generated automatically, saw lists and other data no longer need to be processed manually. This significantly reduces the error rate and makes for a more efficient process.

“Because everything is in one program you make fewer mistakes. You don’t have to enter everything yourself in different programs.”

In contrast to other packages, Thomas Bos Interieurbouw does not work from complicated formulas or fixed values, but really constructs and designs. This keeps the drawing process flexible and suitable for the correct control of machines and production.

Short lines of communication and support

Support and service from Dynfos are seen as very positive. Thanks to the short lines of communication, we are able to think quickly when questions or problems arise.

“If we run into anything we are immediately looked into,” he said.

This allows questions to be resolved quickly and keeps processes running smoothly.
